§ 1 Scope & Definitions

(1) Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all usage relationships between:

• Visitors/Users of the Research Platform wixyn.eu
• Buyers in the Merchandise Shop wixyn.pro
• Newsletter subscribers of both platforms

(2) Definitions

The following definitions apply to these GTC:

• Provider/Seller: WIXYN | True Crime Deep Dives, Jimmy M. Coleman, Pfortenstr. 13, 61138 Niederdorfelden, Germany
• Customer: Natural or legal person who uses content on wixyn.eu and/or purchases goods on wixyn.pro
• Consumer: A natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that can be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity
• Research Platform: The website wixyn.eu with true crime case analyses, research, and community content
• Merchandise Shop: The online shop wixyn.pro with true crime fan articles
• Printful: Print-on-demand service provider for the production and shipping of merchandise items
• True Crime Content: Case analyses, research reports, historical investigations on wixyn.eu
• Merchandise: Clothing, accessories, and collectibles with true crime designs on wixyn.pro

§ 2 Contracting Parties & Conclusion of Contract

(1) Contracting Parties

The provider of all services and goods is:

(2) Conclusion of Contract on wixyn.eu

Use of the Research Platform is generally free of charge. By using the website, subscribing to the newsletter, or leaving comments, you agree to these GTC.

(3) Conclusion of Contract on wixyn.pro

The purchase contract in the Merchandise Shop is concluded through the following steps:

1. Selection of goods and adding to the shopping cart
2. Clicking "Checkout" and entering delivery/billing address
3. Selection of payment method
4. Clicking "Buy" (binding order)
5. Automatic order confirmation by email (acceptance declaration)

(4) Storage of the Contract Text

The GTC and order data are stored and can be viewed by the customer at any time. The confirmation email contains all relevant contract information.

§ 3 Terms of Use for wixyn.eu (Research Platform)

(1) Free Use

Access to the Research Platform is generally free of charge. Fees may apply for certain premium content or community features in the future, about which we will inform transparently.

(2) Age Restriction

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old. True crime content can be disturbing for minors.

(3) Community Guidelines

Additional guidelines apply for comments, discussions, and community contributions:

• Respectful treatment of victims and their relatives
• No glorification of violence or criminal acts
• Factual, evidence-based discussions
• No personal attacks or hate speech
• Citation of sources for quotes or claims

(4) Copyright

All true crime case analyses, research, and content are protected by copyright. Quotations with source attribution are permitted for non-commercial purposes.

(5) Content Warning

The Research Platform deals with real criminal cases that may be disturbing to some visitors. Viewer discretion is advised.

§ 4 Contractual Purchase Provisions for wixyn.pro (Merchandise Shop)

(1) Product Description & Availability

All goods are print-on-demand items. Production occurs after order receipt at Printful. Production time: 2-7 business days, plus delivery time: 3-10 business days.

(2) Prices & Shipping Costs

All prices in Euro (€) include statutory value-added tax, plus shipping costs. Shipping costs are displayed transparently during the order process.

(3) Payment Terms

Payment methods: PayPal, credit card (Stripe), instant bank transfer. Payment is due immediately upon ordering.

(4) Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Excluded are customized items (with personal text/design). The withdrawal policy is part of these GTC.

(5) Warranty

For defects, the statutory warranty rights apply. Print-on-demand particularity: In case of qualitative defects (printing errors, material defects) we offer exchange or refund.

§ 5 Data Protection & Newsletter

(1) Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

(2) Newsletter

The newsletter can be subscribed to on both platforms. Revocable at any time. No tracking of clicks or reading behavior.

(3) Sensitive Data

Since we deal with true crime content, we do not collect data about your specific research interests or reading behavior.

§ 6 Liability Limitations

(1) Research Platform (wixyn.eu)

Despite careful research, we assume no liability for the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the content. Use is at your own risk.

(2) Merchandise Shop (wixyn.pro)

For slight negligence, we are only liable in case of violation of essential contractual obligations. Liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages.

(3) Unlimited Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, in case of injury to life, body or health, and according to the Product Liability Act.

(4) Third-Party Providers

For services of Printful (production/shipping) and payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), their GTC apply.

§ 7 Intellectual Property & Trademarks

(1) WIXYN Brand

The WIXYN logo, "True Crime Deep Dives" and all associated designs are trademarks of WIXYN.

(2) True Crime Designs

The true crime designs used on merchandise items are protected by copyright. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

(3) Research Content

Case analyses, research reports, and historical investigations may be quoted with source attribution. Commercial use requires separate permission.

§ 8 True Crime-Specific Particularities

(1) Respectful Approach

All content and designs are created with respect for victims and their relatives. No glorification of violence.

(2) Educational & Documentation Purpose

Both research content and merchandise serve exclusively educational and documentation purposes.

(3) Sensitive Target Audience

We handle our community with particular sensitivity, as true crime topics can be emotionally distressing.

§ 9 Final Provisions

(1) Jurisdiction & Applicable Law

German law applies to all disputes, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Jurisdiction for consumers is their place of residence, for merchants our registered office.

(2) Severability Clause

Should a provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

(3) Changes to the GTC

We reserve the right to change these GTC. Changes will be published on this page and apply to future contractual relationships.
